Kuzhi Paniyaram


Kuzhipaniyaram is a famous chettinad snack. It is made with idly/dosa batter.
If the idly batter is couple of days old and kind of sour, it is perfect for this snack.





Ingredients Required:
Idly Batter - 3 Cups
Onion - 1, finely chopped
Green Chillies - 2, Chopped
Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - few
Coriander Leaves - few
Urad Dhal - 1 tsp
Hing - pinch
Oil


How to make?
Heat oil in a pan and allow the mustard seeds to splutter.
Add the urad dhal, onion, curry leaves, green chilly, Hing, and fry for few minutes till the onion become golden color.
Mix this with the batter along with the coriander leaves.
Heat the Paniyaram pan and add a drop of oil in each hole.
Once the pan is hot, pour the batter in the holes and allow it to cook on both the sides.
If required add oil around the batter and once done turn the batter with a spoon to cook the other side.
Serve hot with any chutney.
