Ingredients Required:
Toor Dhal - 1/4 Cup
Medium sized tomato - 2 , chopped
Onion - 1, chopped lengthwise
Green Chilli - 2, chopped
Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
Garlic - 2, chopped
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Bay leaves - 2
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Salt as required
Dry Mango Powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbl.sp
How to make?
Pressure cook the dhal.
Heat oil in a pan and ass cumin seeds, bay leaves and ginger paste. Fry for 2 minutes.
Add the chopped green chilli, onion, and garlic. Fry till the onions become golden in color.
Add the tomatoes, garam masala, slat, dry mango powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder.
Add little water and close the pan. Let it cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
Add the cooked dhal and cook for 2 minutes.
Garnish with chopped cilantro.
Serve hot with rice or chappathi.
